Archaic Decorated Phiale
Based on an original from the Louvre Museum collection (ca. 520–500 BC), this phiale follows the rare overpainting technique known as the Six-Technique. White–beige and red details are applied over a black-gloss surface, creating a vivid polychrome effect.
Its decoration features white wavy ribbon motifs, dolphins, octopuses, tongue patterns, and red bands, all symmetrically arranged around the central omphalos.
