A Red-Figure Fish Plate – After an Apulian Original in the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles
Inspired by an Apulian fish plate from the Getty Museum Collection (81.AE.132.1), attributed to the Scottsdale Painter and dating back to around 320 BCE, this plate was crafted in 2005. It was part of a series of artefacts reproduced to commemorate the opening of the Getty Villa in Malibu and has since been held in the collection of Thetis.
