Black-glaze shallow one-handle skyphos – "one-handler" (μόνωτο αγγείο), AA, c. 375–350 BCE
A fine example of a late Classical black-glazed vessel, this shallow skyphos features a single horizontal handle and a gently curved profile. Often referred to as a "one-handler" (μόνωτο), this type served both domestic and ritual purposes. Its elegant simplicity and glossy black finish are characteristic of Attic workshops of the 5th to late 4th cent. BCE.
