Athene Noctua - Little Owl Figurine

Introducing our THETIS Little Owl Figurines, inspired by the iconic symbol of wisdom, the little owl (Athene noctua), revered as the owl of Athena and Minerva. Inhabiting Eurasia and North Africa, this bird has long been associated with knowledge.

Each THETIS little owl is a unique homage, crafted to recall the charming owls of Athens, still gracing the Acropolis walls in autumn and winter. Designed as a playful ceramic figurine, it may also produce a soft “oou-oou” sound when blown through the tail and lightly tapped on the small hole, although this function may vary from piece to piece and is not always fully consistent. A distinctive object celebrating the enduring legacy of the noble little owl.
